We had the French press coffee and an almond raspberry scone. Both were delicious! The French press coffee was $7, and it was enough to share between two people. We sat outside and enjoy the Sun, but the inside has a great ambiance as well. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

I stopped by Avant for the first time yesterday and was pleased with my visit. They offer the ambience of a laid back, hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. I tried some of their loose leaf tea and it was very delicious. A huge plus for being able to drink my tea out of a glass mug instead of a paper cup. I've heard great things about the quality of your coffee, so I'll have to stop back for more.
We need to support places like Avant and keep these unique and independent places alive in Lake Geneva or the town will end up looking like every Chicago burb that has welcomed the character-crushing institutions of Potbelly, Jimmy Johns, Starbucks, Coldstone, and Qdoba/Chipotle.
They sure know how to make lattes here. I had a soy maple spice latte with 1 shot espresso and it was so delicious. I didn't have to add anything extra to it like I have to do at Starbucks or anywhere else I have gone. Must get your coffee drinks here!
