We did not camp or hike here, so I can't speak to those aspects of this state park.

Nice quiet place no alcohol allowed and they will enforce it the ranger goes around about every 30 minutes all night long

I tent camped here and it was so much fun. The camping spots are spacious and i loved the lake!

Each campsite has tons of room, a large picnic table, and a fire pit. Many also have electrical hookups. It isn't far from Lake Geneva either. All in all, this is a wonderful place to have a campout with friends or family.

Do not come here for the beach. It's not so much a beach as a shoulder off the highway. Truly, this "beach" is all of 10 feet deep and 50 feet wide. Right beside the highway with fast moving vehicles and large trucks. Not a relaxing place to bring kids! I can't believe you have to drive in and pay to enter the State Park to walk back out by the entry gate and across a highway to get to the beach.

What a fabulous campground! My husband and I went tent camping there last weekend and we're impressed by the beautiful, well maintained grounds and facilities. There are ample bathrooms (not all are flush toilets, but they are available at a comfort station) located throughout the campground, and also free showers. There are also some nice trails nearby and a playground for kids.

This place is nice in the summer, grill out, sit at a picnic table or just hangout at the beach. They keep the place maintained and clean. Only Downer is no dogs, of the place had a dog park it would be hard to go any where but to Bigfoot. If you want to camp you can do that too. Enjoyed the beautiful beach but it wes small and close to the road.
